The JV Bombers traveled on Wednesday night to Mynderse to face the Blue Devils. Despite a brief travel delay and some confusion entering the facility, the team was eager to get started.Since our last outing, practice focused on five key areas: better passing, ball control, minimizing jump-ball tie-ups, rebounding, and feeding the posts. These efforts paid off, as turnovers were reduced by more than 50%, and well-placed passes in the paint led to several well-earned points. The Blue Devils led 10-8 at the end of the first quarter, but strong defensive takeaways late in the second quarter gave the Bombers a narrow 16-15 lead at halftime. The team's defensive intensity surged in the third quarter, where the Bombers outscored the Blue Devils 18-5. Sawyer led the charge with 8 points, while Evalynn added 4.
